Erika grew up in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia, and moved to Victoria in 2013 to begin her academic career at the University of Victoria. She pursued a bachelor degree in economics with a minor in business, along with a passion for the powerful quantitative and analytic tools that help us understand the impact of our decisions, big or small. During this time, Erika was approached to work with a management consulting firm who works with and provides strategic advice to visionary leaders in the independent school, public and non-profit sectors. She worked as a support consultant who wore many hats, however, her favourite was strategic planning with independent schools, engaging with the variety of stakeholders and implementing valuable change. Erika also managed to purchase an investment property Downtown Victoria, before meeting her husband who was born and raised in the Comox Valley. Once Erika completed her degree, she and her partner moved back to the Comox Valley for a more idyllic and adventure-focused lifestyle. As a real estate professional with Engel & Völkers, she values having a deep understanding of her clients’ needs, always being strategic, and building trust that her clients can depend on.
